Project Overview

The client, a company looking to increase their number of bookings for their events - partnered with us for assistance. The goal was to create an ad campaign strategy around high quality content that would drive desired outcomes - in this case with increased website traffic, boosting brand awareness and finally getting more people to their events (bookings).

Project Execution

The initial analysis was done by YouGrow's ad team to look into client's target audience but also understand what other events of the same category were happening during this time. Further, we looked into the creatives of Nostalgic and while the branding of the company and events were very unique and compelling (Instagram page), the creatives for the ads were not. We also deduced that the tracking implementation could be improved with Server Side tracking. Nostalgic's website was user friendly and only a few changed were to be made in UI/UX. We took these conclusions as learnings and launched new campaign with everything fixed - better content, better tracking and improved target audience.

Project Results

The execution of the campaign saw immediate results in terms of cost per click (CPC) and cost per ticket sold (CPA). Since the ad creatives were more relatable and of high quality, there were more shares and thus more impressions as well. We managed to take down the CPA from 5.3€ to 3.6€, which resulted in the highest ticket sales (500+) for Nostalgic's event in its history.
